rental pricing & policies


With more than 2700 sq. ft. of versatile studio area featuring a 22" wide cyclorama, a green screen alcove, multiple muslin and paper backgrounds, specialty props, makeup stations, catering area, large projection and surround sound system, wifi and movable studio wall sections you can't beat it.  We are an all inclusive studio!  What that means to our customers is that there will never be a multiple rental situation.  The entire studio along with props, lights & pocket wizards are yours for the duration of your rental.  We are friendly and always eager to help with moving props, bringing down muslins or adjusting lights.

rates

standard rate $40/hr with a 2hr minimum. standard rates apply between 8am & 8pm

student rate $30/hr with a 2hr minimum/4hr maximum (*student i.d. required)

*excludes overnite hours & weekends*
overnight rate is $50/hr between the hours of 8pm-8am

full day  standard rate 9/hrs $300.00 this brings the hrly rate down to just $33/hr!! 


policies

shutterstories will do our best to always stay reasonably priced. we are glad to offer our standard rate

7 days a week.

We currently do not have a specified before and after set up time.  We do allow up to 15 min prior & 15 min after.  Other wise your actual rental time will include any additional time you need for setting up.  Anything more than 15 min prior or 15 min after will be considered an additional rental hour. 

 

We are happy to help in any way possible to ensure your rental experience runs smoothly.  The lights will always be ready to go in a standard lighting technique for in studio.  Any additional lighting technique set up is up to the photographer & his/her own personal style/needs.  If you need full time grip assistance for the duration of your shoot we offer it @ $50/hr. 

*cars, trucks, bikes are welcome!!!  We do however require a minimum of 8hrs rental @ 40/hr -or- a $60.00 paint charge for anything less than a full day*

*shutterstories requires a deposit in order to guarantee a specific time slot. 

*shutterstories is pleased to offer a student rate for compiling those portfolio's & practicing the craft. 

we must ask however that you show proof of age along with your student i.d. . shutterstories by law cannot

extend a  rental agreement to any persons under 18 unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

*models or persons being photographed must also have proof of age on hand unless accompanied

by a parent or guardian.


*shutterstories is more than happy to reconfigure the studio and or remove the studio flats at no extra charge

but will require a full day rental.  If you are renting for less than 8/hrs we do ask that the flats stay in their original positions.

 

*More than 15 people involved in your shoot?  We have a limit of 15. If you are planning on more than 15 please read below.


a $100.00 cleaning fee will apply to any rental bringing in more than 15persons per rental.

a Full day rental is allowed up to 25persons (9hrs) anything over will be charged a $100.00 cleaning fee.

 

*shutterstories provides Coffee & Water with every rental.  Rummaging thru cupboards & helping yourself to whatever you see is NOT ok,  and you

Will be charged accordingly if you decide to break this rule.

 

*shutterstories requires anyone involved in the shoot enter thru the front door and leave thru the front door.
